Arden Booth Stories
LAWRENCE -- A special hour on the airwaves he created. Family, friends, and radio colleagues reflect on the founder of KLWN.

On December 4, 2017, KLWN's Clenece Hills coordinated a special edition of Timeline Radio, marking the 106th anniversary of the birth of Arden Booth, founder of the radio station KLWN. The station signed on in 1951, and became a labor of love and community service for Arden, his family, and many career broadcasters.
Arden Booth died March 10, 2000. On today's show, Clenece is joined by Arden's son Hank, daughter Bette, and former KLWN news man Bob Neu to tell stories of the man behind the original airwaves of Lawrence, Kansas.
