KLWN Adds FM Signal
LAWRENCE -- KLWN has added an FM signal. In addition to 1320 on AM, the station can now be heard on 101.7FM.
Nearly 66 years ago, founder Arden Booth flipped the switch on the radio station KLWN. On January 31, 2017 at 8:17am, Arden's son Hank flipped the switch on the next evolution of KLWN radio: an FM signal. In addition to its traditional AM frequency 1320, the station can now also be heard on 101.7FM.
Listen here as John Flood and Hank Booth prepare the countdown, and welcome in guests from around Lawrence stopping by for the big switch.
