LAWRENCE -- An entire month of efforts has taken one group to the capitol and across the state. All in search of that one, exact match that can save a life.

It continues to be a busy National Kidney Month for Rosina Houle and her organization Save A Life, Inc. After a day at the capitol to spread more awareness for living kidney donations, Rosina returns to KLWN once again for updates on events, and introduces us to a local family seeking a living kidney donor.

KLWN's Eric Holcomb talks with Tom and Mary Weathers, who graciously share their family's story in this informative hour on what it takes to make it happen: the process of testing, matching, and donating a kidney. Tom continues his search for a match, and a donor. An important conversation about time, cost, and recovery for those considering the decision to save a person's life.
