According to the Record with Hank Booth: Weekdays 8-9a
Hank Booth’s “According to the Record” is produced in-house and airs live every weekday from 8am-9am. Hank, a member of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame and son of KLWN’s founder Arden Booth, inherited his father’s flagship program in 1973, and to this day invites community guests in to talk about upcoming events, causes, and community efforts, along with pressing and timely issues. Frequent guests include the Lawrence Public School District, United Way, and members of the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department. Hank books legislators to talk bills, superintendents to talk education, and health officials to talk health concerns and initiatives to fix them. Hank averages nearly 100 Lawrence guests per month on his show.
